Information we collect
We collect account details, business profile information, uploaded footage and footage metadata, and usage information such as interactions with features. Connected channels may provide information needed to operate the connection.
How we use information
We use this information to operate the account, prepare content, support publishing you approve, maintain security, provide support and improve the service. We use information only as permitted by applicable law.
Footage and retention
Raw video is deleted 24 hours after upload. Finished approved content stays in your account. Other account and usage information is retained as needed to provide the service and meet applicable legal obligations; deletion requests are subject to lawful exceptions.
AI and service providers
Footage and relevant business information are processed by AI services to help prepare content. AI can make mistakes, so merchant review is required. Service providers process information to support hosting, storage and AI features; see the Subprocessors page.
SubprocessorsNo sale or sharing of personal information
We do not sell or share personal information, including for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are used under the CCPA/CPRA. Connecting an advertising channel permits the transfers needed for the features you choose; review that platform's own privacy terms.
Your privacy rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access to, deletion of or correction of your personal information. We may verify your identity and explain any lawful limits. Requests can be sent to the privacy contact listed in the app Settings.
Recording responsibilities
Bystander-consent and recording laws vary by state and country. The merchant is responsible for complying with local requirements, obtaining required consent and posting recording notices. Respect bystander privacy and use face blurring and voice muting where appropriate.
CLIPSYNC Showcase
If you use Showcase we store your public social handles and your consent record, and we publish the featured item and credit on CLIPSYNC's channels. We do not collect handles for any other purpose. Withdraw any time in Settings.
